This was followed by heated discussions on trading flows evolving from a buyers and sellers perspective that included senior representatives from Tokyo Gas, Chubu Electric, ConocoPhillips and North West Shelf, to a spotlight on new suppliers on LNG which included stimulating presentations from The Honourable Paul Tiensten, The Minister of Planning and Development from Papua New Guinea, Dr Abdul Hadi Al-Hassani from the Iraqi Parliament and Serapio Ntutumu, Deputy Director General from Sonagas.
Next Generation LNG created a lot of discussion and debate amongst delegates as well as throughout the media.

The conference was attended by delegations from companies such as KOGAS, SK Energy, Malaysia LNG, Pertamina, INDI Energy, Wuzhou Oil Trading, Guangdong Dapeng, Stream Respol Gas Natural LNG SL, BG Group, Shell, BP, RWE Supply and Trading and Cheniere LNG.
Not only did visitors enjoy the interactive conference and various networking sessions, they were also able to get involved in the networking highlight of the conference "The Buyers and Sellers Meet" where delegates, led by a panel, were asked to contribute their views on "The Return of a Buyers Market" and what this will mean for pricing, trading and contracts in the future. This was thoroughly enjoyed by all delegates and gave all attendees the opportunity to make new relationships in a relaxed environment.
We would like to pay special thanks to the Next Generation LNG - Asia Pacific steering committee who supported and guided the conference to the end as well as the event's official supporters The Energy Market Authority, Singapore and International Enterprise Singapore who have already committed their full support for the 2010 conference.
We look forward to the World LNG Series: Asia Pacific Summit in September 2010!
